Anomalies

This is the anomalies pages. The game has many secrets or errors (mostly errors) in it. Send me anything that may be of interest. I'll post it on the site with appropriate credits.

# 1 - Where are the children anyways ?

The woman asks Will if he would become Lilly's friend since there are no other children of her age around. In fact, there are no other children in town... Same goes for Freejia and Euro. :)
Maybe it's because the town is on a dangerous landscape(img2), or is it becuse the adults hate kids and set the traps ?(img3)

# 2 - I didnt know about desertic game rooms! Tell me more !

Nothing more than a bad translation... When will they ever learn? Except for the plain of Nazca and Dao, I don't think there even IS a simple "Desert" in the game ! (It IS a fact, though that Las Vegas was orignially a Casino in the desert...hmm... they're pretty clever at Qunintet)
Coming back to the bad translation idea.. this is perfectly possible that the kanji that was written in the japanese version was taken to the letter and had an alternate meaning/connotation. (yes it's highly possimable...)

# 3 - When Erik has to go, he has to go.

Erik seems to have some problems with doing his business. The group is on a trip around the world. They told him to do it before they left, they aint stoppin' for nothing!

# 4 - I'll buy you a Kruk, alright? Now eat your rice !

Poor kids in watermia are waiting for their dad to come back. If you paid attention to details, you might have read the Explorer's journal in the Incan ruins at the beginning of the game. The guy passed away but he died clutching his kids' letter. What a tragic story that changes nothing to this wonderfull storyline :)

# 5 - Lance's Hair Lineage.

These snapshots are revealing ! Behold the grave news !!! The people of Watermia are COLORBLIND!

# 6 - Don't step under the ladder, it's bad luck, i'd say...

...but I guess that saying is void if you can't even reach it. This was probably a beta version incomplete. There is a ladder connecting two houses in Itory village, but there is no sign of that ladder in either of the houses. Strange, isn't it?

# 7 - Will the Magician

How come no one ever notices Will diseapearing into Gaia's portals? The couple there are litterally staring at the portal! Maybe they're too madly in love to notice...

# 8 - Wait guys, I think I can squeeze through.

This one has been debated and speculated on for a decade. Square-Enix/Quintet has never said anything about it, and you cannot use the psycho slide to go in, since it appears later in the game and you can't travel back to the south continents in IoG. THERE IS NOTHING THERE I REST MY CASE. So why did I include it, because I'm an evil bastard hellbent on dispelling every little gaming fantasy you people might have, muhahaha

Olivier Bellemare over at on the TerraEarth forums got around to using a Pro Action Replay to get the Psycho Slider move and tried to enter the hole. Turns out you still can't enter the "hole". I'll post the video when I change to a hosting plan that doesn't complain about file size. That's right take that, coolfreepages...
